The vision of the National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products is to guarantee every citizen access to safe, high-quality and effective pharmaceutical products and medical devices, through a robust and recognised national regulatory system.
The Agency's work forms part of the regulatory maturity strengthening pathway led by the World Health Organization (maturity level 3, ML3), consolidating its registration, inspection, quality control and vigilance capacities.
It aims to support the development of a competitive, innovative national pharmaceutical industry open to international cooperation, in the service of the country's health sovereignty.
