The 13th Session of the Algerian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, held on Friday, June 26, 2026, in Moscow, capital of the Russian Federation, under the co-chairmanship of the Minister of State, Minister of Energy, Mines and Renewable Energies, Mr. Mohamed Arkab, and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mr. Dmitry Patrushev, concluded with the signing of several agreements and memoranda of understanding covering various fields and sectors of cooperation.
As part of Algerian-Russian cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry, the Director General of the National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products (ANPP), Mr. Cherif Delih, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mr. Vladislav Shestakov, Director of the Federal State Institution “State Institute of Medicines and Good Practices” under the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. The memorandum aims to strengthen cooperation between the two countries through the exchange of expertise and knowledge, while establishing mechanisms for mutual recognition, particularly in the areas of inspection and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
The session also witnessed the participation of a delegation of officials from the Ministry of Pharmaceutical Industry, as part of ongoing efforts to monitor and strengthen Algerian-Russian cooperation across various economic, commercial, scientific and technical sectors.
